CENSUS TECHNIQUE TARGET OF LAWSUIT

A public interest group has filed a lawsuit against the Clinton Administration from using an unconstitutional counting method in the year 2000 census. The Southeastern Legal Foundation of Atlanta challenged the administration's plan to use statistical sampling to estimate the portion of the population that is hardest to count. The group termed the sampling method a threat to the U.S. form of representative government.

It is about "The integrity of the ballot box. We don't guess at the number of votes in our elections and we should not guess at the number of people in America," the foundation says.

The capitol of California, Sacramento, has been chosen to the test city for the new technique. The test will take place this August.

The FTB Organization supports the Southeastern Legal Foundation in it's suit against the Clinton Administration. The Constitution, the real Contract with America, only permits the physical counting of people, enumeration, and NOT estimation! Though, California would gain additional rebates in it's over payments of tax monies and additional political representation--The Constitution, like all contracts, must be obeyed. The fact that they are using California's capitol city to test this unconstitutional technique, is just an attempt to drag California into and taint it with this illegal, assault on the Constitution. Of course, the main reason the FTB org. calls for Independence of California is due to the federal government refusal to obey the U.S.Constitution which California does obey. This attempt by the Clinton administration is just one more reason why FTB calls for the independence of California from the USA.
